Distorted
Memories
2020
Can we trust our own recollections? Childhood memories are nothing more than a made-up fantasy, constructed by forgotten details being auto-corrected with something our brain thinks is similar. Over time, this repeated loss and replacement of information creates a completely new memory; one that never actually occurred.
2 wax sculptures visually represent these distorted memories of items from my childhood.
